For this personal project, I chose to rebrand Maddie Jo's BBQ, a beloved family-owned restaurant in San Tan Valley. The goal was to create something fresh and unique while staying true to their roots. I drew inspiration from elements already present in their branding, like the pig and butcher knives, but gave them a more rough, country-inspired style that feels at home in the heart of San Tan Valley. I kept their original color scheme but added a pop of yellow to give the logo some extra personality and help it stand out from the competition. The rough sketch aesthetic was a deliberate choice, reflecting the down-to-earth, homemade quality of their food, while giving the logo a hand-crafted, authentic vibe. This rebrand is all about capturing the spirit of the restaurant in a way that feels both familiar and fresh, giving them a unique visual identity to help them stand out in their community.
